CMC-Hymer-Group: Synergies pay off

The CMC-Hymer-Gruppe, which includes not only the Hymer AG but also well known brands like Bürstner, Dethleffs, Laika (Italy), LMC Caravan, Niesman + Bischoff and TEC, is Europe's leading supplier of caravans and mobile homes. And thanks to its founder and chairman it is also the most know brand: Hymer Mobil ist today a generic term for mobile homes. His concept – the complete integration of the cab in the living room and a proper design of the vehicle bow – revolutionized the industry.

The success is also due to a serial production that has been continuously optimized by means of new methods and tools, among others the PDM/PLM-System CIM DATABASE. It provides consistent product data management and ensures continous process control throughout product development and the interface to logistics across the Hymer group. A distinct of the Hymer Solution is the synchronization of product development data with the different ERP systems of the member companies in the CMC-Hymer-Gruppe.
